Mari, did you text me to see if I had seen this comment, or was that some hoodlum? An unknown number asked me if I got their email. I am beset by hooligans while the people I care about don't call! A reflection upon the status of Truth in my life...perhaps I will learn something from the universe I perceive, knowing full well it is not THE universe or GOD. Yet, are these ripples in Time beautiful when I stand back to admire them? Yes!! Namaste
I did not text you, so I 'm not sure who that was. I do not believe in the universe is a mirror of our consciousness theory. We are collectively doing things that have consequences we may or may not know anything about. Therefore we simply have to communicate. Best wishes to you always; in gratitude for the plataonic idealism and eternal learning of yin/yang mysterious life!
Pity the poor catfisher and the catfish...hopefully they dismissed me as too wacko and threw the hook back in! Otherwise they would long to be Mari Amman and look for other employment! As you note, our experience is collective and beyond our personal will to control...I like this way!
I would like to advocate for myself that I not be viewed as a contrarian! I support the main thrust of of your brilliant essay, at least as I was able to receive it, positing that there is a human perception of Beauty which is universal enough to bypass our ideologies and cultural biases...and that we can look here for common ground.
Thank you for that clarification! I kinda feel sorry for the person I responded to...I simply communicated...to the wrong person! I do hear your insistence regarding 'universe is a mirror of our consciousness theory' ! I think perhaps the disconnect occurs because of emphasis on 'what is really going on' vs ' what anyone may think is going on'. I propose that both these questions are real and valid, but we can't just mush them together and give people an ultimatum. It has never been God that I oppose, it is the douchebag with a sword who demands that I submit to an obnoxious male dominant authority figure justifying his personal identification that I detest! I'm sorry, but 'God'='good' doesn't translate into the actual history of Christianity or even its origins....I am a scholar of pre-Christian ideology in the first 2 centuries and a devotee of Jesus, so I think Christianity is a sham! I would gladly defend the substitution of 'Universe' for 'God' anytime, with the caveat that a human can know neither, yet may experience both in a personal framework.
Ahhh...well done! Your words express and inspire!
Thanks for wading through all that :D

Sorry the catfish bit is lost on me. And yes, there is a great deal operating within our realm of choice but always more. Take care!

You don't usually seem contrarian. You are very adaptable. The main intention was precisely as you describe!
