It all looks a bit like a fun walk on the wild side in the images and after enough time to integrate and digest the lessons…yes, I suppose it was. Anything that is survived becomeso a story of humor, perhaps tradgedy, or perhaps something paradoxical that sticks with our bones for awhile. Such as in the Suspended Planes installation…by the time we are seeing something, the vision is already the past meaning: what we perceive through vision in the now already has been reflexively reflected through our being formed through experience. In this particular understanding (one of several takes) the memory of bringing myself to Australia, the people I’ve met along the way, memories of those I love, and looking forward to the responsibility of creating in the future are all presented in these frames of time that really did occur in October 2023.
