Pink Fog
I had to build new relationships to every element of nature these past few years. Thankfully my fear and disquiet for fog and wind gave way by new experiences, 180 degrees different from my previous associations with them.
I would love to continue to share what I create freely with you, but I really do have to be paid like anyone else. I understand the offer must come into the value system now otherwise people can take the work and all the resources involved for granted. So while I deeply appreciate all the support given to me, that usually makes me feel a little overwhelmed in gratitude because I often felt guilty to receive so many opportunities and privileges, despite working for them because I know they are never guaranteed, I understand that eventually the work will transform to the mariammanfoundation.org to help those in the next generation, who also have hard working dreams in their hearts to create.
Therefore future posts on Le Lapin are paid as a form of respect to myself and to the future of art, visual literacy, and values I hold dear despite the attempts I experience to have them distorted, molded, warped or denied. There is space enough for difference, and that difference makes life resplendent when we drop our arms in awe.
