45 years. Does that sound long or brief, to you? In context of marriage (these days) it might sound long. For as many reasons people can imagine to be against something, they could extend the energy to imagine to be for it.
This basic premise of reason, and exercising discernment has always been under attack. Perhaps not overt attack, but a gradual succession towards a spectrum of practiced beliefs. The axioms upon which people base their behaviors and actions are presumed to be considered smart on one end, and not smart on the other. The subject in question here: intelligence.
What is implied and what is meant by intelligence. Is intelligence what you do? or what you think? Are you so fearful of thinking that you believe your thoughts manifest actions at a distance? Has the god complex of humans gone so far with the new age thought police to hold that as true?
There are plenty of examples where what is thought does not happen. So in the reality of what we are living in, proves the realm of thought and belief to old some levy for or against actions and behaviors.
The question about intellgence remains relative to being damned if we do or damned if we don’t, or not being damned at all. What if awarness was not a complicated master class but a diligence paid toward caring about what we, as humans, are doing: to ourselves and to each other, to our ecosystem, and to our supposed scentific methods.
The internet may not be the best of sources, but it might also be when it’s still connected to a human. Your mind may or may not be the most reliable to. The thing is…the power to choose and engage is really up to you. When it comes to artifical, also known as pseudo, spurious, a genuine good intention does not mean the good intenton will be good or become real. What can really happen with the acquisition of falsness supplanted as real may fuel a great break with reality. In theory, a break from reality indicates a psychotic break. The thing is, when it comes to humans who still HAVE their senses, as altered, drugged or numbed as they might be, they have those sensors. Even if machines are fabricated sensors, those sensors work differently and can be as manipulated as humans sensors. Trying to erase the differences serves those who love confusion.
Now, I don’t know about you, but confusion just doesn’t feel as healthy as clarity. Think about it as you will, but coming to drink clear and clean water feels better than drinking murky pond scum.
The amazing part about intelligence is we get to evolve what it is through deepening our understanding of history, instead of imparting a half-baked idea about the future based on a set of false assumptions. And in this way, the old does not have to be tossed out for the new, and the ways people think may be served a healthy check and balance in perspective of a longer historical view than this small, often, myopic view from a screen.
Staying together depends on sharing resources and creating enough security to inspire innovation but not too much hubris to forget everything in this world has some kind of cost to be weighed. I deeply doubt a machine or even a mechanical way of thinking could ever feels a sense of remorse or grief, attachment or love. And if fake intelligence is more like a sociopath, then what kind of world are we creating? I mean these questions to be deeply considered. There are so many things to be occupied with and choose…right now. And I hope that freedom of our spirits and psyches remains.
The other side of the screens, are the potential for the transmission of illumination. Another sun…

Text written by Mudi and edited by Mari: The Sun’s Traveling As a dream, the screen technology transmits the sun. The transmission of light over great distances evokes a memory of the first moment the sun enters our lives. This warmth resides within us forever. The video consists of transmitting a video of sunlight through another video filmed during twilight in Nevelsfjord. The clay bowl used in this work contains writing from texts originating from The Epic of Gilgamesh (the sun within you). The four sections drawn represent stages of a revelation, or rotation around the sun.
