Ignorance
to fail to notice
to avoid understanding
to lack and to want
FREEZE FRAME
Wakened by each day reminded
the world’s not built for rugged solitary accord
yet beckoned by the premise of an intentional stride traipsing through the streets
wondering where the fantasy of a white dress implanted into a projection of downpour soaked
sheer viscose fraughtfully clinging
there must have been some movie
and in such running picture frames
someone to be running toward
to take me home in something more tangible than
a memory of a frozen frame
melted back into life
refusing to be held in loops of our favourite parts though it seems the painful bits
are more prone to keep circuiting
cannot they be tossed out with hellish heels
no good for running in anyway
between the story worth telling
and the space between the head and soul
maybe the now we are woven within
where words failed to do
what unsaid symbols, films, sills of desire assay
fade to pale under the penetrable light
exposing the significance of existence as an echo upon the lands where we find ourselves
holding each others’ hands.
